If you have difficulty selling things on promoting things think about the reasons why this might be.
T Harv Eker gives four reasons for you to think about why you do not promote with passion.
1. You had a bad experience in the past promoting things and someone rejected you totally so you fear that rejection again.
So, what? Are you going to let one bad experience prevent you moving on with your life?
2. Someone did the hard sell on you and you don’t want to be like that.
Does this mean you are going to be like this?
And also recognis this might be an objection that other people will have when you try to sell to them.
3. When you are growing up adults might have shown or said that it wasn’t good to promote yourself and ‘blow your own trumpet’.
The thing is, if you don’t promote it who will?
… and lastly…
4. You might feel that selling is ‘beneath’ you.
The thought behind that is that you are better than other people, and that others should come and find you if they want what you have.
Just think about how you feel about other people who had things that you want and how you respond to advertising, Or people promoting themselves.
How do you respond when people promote with passion and enthusiasm?
Does it put you off?
The thing is that rich people are happy promoting themselves and their products.
Because underlying it all is your belief in yourself and your product.
- If you don’t believe you are good enough to sell, good it’s selling or even if you believe you are too good to sell that you won’t do it.
- If you don’t believe that your product is good enough to tell everyone about, and produces benefits for other people to tell them about, then you won’t promote it.

In other words promote with passion and enthusiasm, and that passion will shine through.
I find it very interesting thinking about my belief systems behind money.
After all, it is those belief systems have got you to the point that you are now.
And if you don’t have a lot of money now, or you or not as a point where you have the amount of money that you desire, then whatever you been in doing in your life up till now has not been serving you.
